One Collaborative Year

One collaborative year

Published by Kendall and We Money

2018 was surely the year of collaborative efforts and duos that set their sights on breaking through every threshold and barrier artists may have encountered solo. Various dynamic tandems like Curren$y and Freddie Gibbs, Fly Anakin and Big Kahuna OG, Kevin Gates, and even braggodociosu rap drake and the melancholic sad boy R&B Drake hit the charts and diffused audiences together that aided in the expansion of their fanbase.

Here in VA it was no different, as we saw Suffolk artists Ty Safari and Zara Bash release their long teased EP, Heaven on Earth. The young artists are both well known for their sonic bending, high energy styles, and heavy sub-bass production.

Real life chemistry set the stage for a reactive project in Heaven on Earth, as the Suffolk duo cascade across the 8 tracks with a mix of careening flows and back to back verses on Scarface, to free flowing emotions across tracks like Deadman’s Gospel

An interesting listen to newcomers and fans alike of the frequent collaborators! As we anxiously await what’s next from these artists, take a listen below.
